With all the constant put downs of Wordpress by the digg community, I am here to prove that Wordpress can in fact, handle the digg effect :)

System:
P3 800Mhz
512 Rambus memory
20GB hdd
7392k down / 482k up

    I think that your server might hold out, because Wordpress is quite stable. If you really want your site to be able to take a pounding try Drupal instead. I did and its sooo much better. (Thats just my opinion though, you can try it and find it just isnt good for you.)

    Does any one know how digg does those google ads so they are just one large one at the top?
    Jump on to any digg article to see what i mean (cant post links yet)
