1. Open a CMD.EXE Windows.

2. Type the following command and press Enter:

REG ADD “HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Outlook Express” /V “Hide Messenger” /T REG_DWORD /F /D 2

3. When you restart your computer, the Windows Messenger icon should be hidden.
